Shorts VS Factory Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR Sprite Left-Handed Green Black Bezel Super Clone Shorts

VS Factory Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR "Sprite" Left-Handed — Hands-On Breakdown

So VS finally dropped their version of the Sprite. The Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR — the lefty destro config with the black and green bezel. Been waiting on this one for a while honestly. Let me walk you through what they got right and where things stand compared to gen.

The Bezel — Black to Green, No Weird Color Shift

First thing you notice on the VS Factory Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR is the bezel. They're using the same ceramic insert sourced from the same supplier as Clean factory. Color-wise it's very close to gen. The transition from black to green around the 6 to 18 markers is smooth — no hard line, no obvious split.

The teeth on the bezel edge deserve a mention too. VS cut them tighter than most other factories. You know how some reps have that chunky, oversized serration thing going on? Not here. These are finer, more in line with what you'd see on a genuine piece. Gap between the bezel and case is also kept pretty minimal.

Crystal and Date Window

The chamfer on the crystal edge is done a bit smaller, not overdone like some factories tend to go. Closer to how gen actually looks. Subtle difference but if you've handled a real one you'll pick up on it.

Date window is plated in white gold. No issues with fading or oxidation down the line — that's always a concern with cheaper reps but VS handled it well here. Cyclops magnification sits at a comfortable level, date font is centered and clean. Reads well at a glance.

Hands and Hour Markers

VS used the same grade hand set as their Coke GMT. The minute hand tip comes to a sharp point, nice and crisp. Second hand has a rounded finish at the tail end. Center post is just slightly thinner than gen — very minor and honestly hard to spot on wrist.

Hour markers pop nicely. Good lume application, decent 3D depth to them.

Now here's a detail I appreciate. The GMT hand — that green arrow — isn't a deep forest green. It's more of a vivid jade tone that actually matches the green portion of the bezel. Small thing but it shows VS was paying attention to color coordination across the whole dial.

Case and Bracelet — Proper 126 Shell

This is where VS pulls ahead of a lot of the competition. They're using the correct 126xxx case shape, not the old 116 mold that some factories still recycle. What's the difference? Lugs. The 126 case has noticeably slimmer lugs. Put it next to an old-gen rep and you'll see the older one looks chubbier around the ears.

Caseback screws down flush. No raised step or gap between the back and the mid-case — that was a common tell on older batches from various factories. VS nailed the fitment here.

Bracelet ships as a five-link Jubilee for now. Word is a three-link Oyster option is coming later.

Clasp — Polished But Not Overdone

There's been some chatter in the rep community about VS clasp finishing not being as good as Clean's. I'd actually push back on that. Clean over-polishes their clasps — rounder and smoother than gen if you compare side by side. VS kept it closer to how Rolex actually finishes theirs. Less flashy, more accurate.

Clasp code is A9A, same as the Coke version. Opens and closes smooth, no gritty feeling. Flip lock and extension links are all consistent with the Coke batch quality.

Movement — Dandong 3285, Proven and Reliable

Inside the VS Factory Rolex 126720VTNR sits a Dandong-made 3285 clone. Same movement Clean uses. It's been around long enough that reliability isn't really a question anymore — the thing just works.

70 hours of power reserve. More than enough for daily wear or even rotating between a couple watches.

Quick-set date at the first crown position — works both directions, buttery smooth. Pull to second position for time setting, rotation direction matches gen. Winding feel is light, no resistance. When you push the crown back in and screw it down there's a satisfying click with just the right amount of resistance. You can hear it engage. Crown threads seat tight with no wobble.

Bottom Line

The VS Factory Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR Sprite is legit top-tier work. Bezel color accuracy, the updated 126 case shape, sharp hand set, solid 3285 movement — hard to find weak points here. If you've been eyeing a Sprite rep this is the one to go for right now. No question.
