VS Factory Rolex Datejust 41 126334 Review: Silver Dial vs White Dial

Meta Description:
A detailed VS Factory Rolex Datejust 41 126334 review covering case finishing, dial details, fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet, and the Dandong 3235 movement.

VS Factory Rolex Datejust 41 126334 Review

At VSF Watches Hub, the Rolex Datejust 41 ref. 126334 remains one of the most consistently requested Datejust models, and for good reason. It is classic, versatile, and easy to wear in almost any setting. This time, I had the chance to handle two very popular VS Factory versions side by side: the silver dial and the white dial.

Both watches come with the signature fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet, which is arguably the most iconic configuration for the Datejust line. In this review, I want to focus on the real wearing experience, the finishing details, and the most noticeable differences between these two dial options.

Case Size and Wearing Proportion

Although this model is officially called the Datejust 41, the actual wearing impression is slightly more restrained than a full 41mm sports watch. On the wrist, it feels closer to around 40mm, which is also consistent with the genuine watch. The thickness is around 11.7mm, so the overall proportion remains balanced and refined.

That is one of the reasons the Datejust 41 has always been such a strong all-rounder. It has more presence than a 36mm Datejust, but it still keeps the elegant profile that makes the model suitable for both everyday wear and dressier situations.

On the wrist, the VS Factory 126334 feels well balanced. The case shape sits comfortably, and the watch does not feel overly bulky or awkward. The overall fit and handling are already at a mature level.

Case Finishing, Fluted Bezel, and Jubilee Bracelet

The fluted bezel is one of the defining visual elements of the Datejust, and it plays a huge role in the overall character of the watch. On this VS Factory version, the bezel has strong visual definition, good light reflection, and a convincing transition into the case.

The case finishing is also very solid. The surfaces are clean, the case lines are well controlled, and the transitions between polished and brushed areas look natural. One detail I especially like is the crystal edge. It does not have an exaggerated chamfer. Instead, it has a more natural sloped edge, which is much closer to the look and feel of the genuine watch.

The Jubilee bracelet is another highlight. It wears comfortably, drapes well on the wrist, and gives the watch the classic Datejust identity most buyers are looking for. The clasp action feels positive, and the inner clasp details, engravings, and overall fit are all well executed for this level.

Dial Details: Silver vs White

The dial is where these two versions begin to show very different personalities.

The silver dial has a sunburst effect that gives it more depth and movement under changing light. It feels more traditional and more in line with the classic Datejust aesthetic. The white dial, on the other hand, is cleaner and brighter. It does not have the same sunburst texture, so the look is more direct, crisp, and modern.

Neither is objectively better. It really comes down to personal preference.

The silver dial is more understated and timeless.
The white dial is sharper and more eye-catching.

In terms of execution, the dial printing, hour markers, lume plots, and hand finishing are all quite consistent. The lume color on the markers and hands matches well, which is important because any mismatch in tone can immediately hurt the realism of the watch. VS Factory has done a good job here.

The center pinion is also handled well. If compared side by side with a genuine piece, the genuine watch may still look slightly more refined in that area, but in normal wear this is not a major issue.

Material Difference and Weight

One of the more meaningful differences compared with the genuine 126334 is the bezel material. On the genuine watch, the fluted bezel is made of white gold. On the VS Factory version, it is a copper-based part with white-gold-colored plating. Because of that, the watch is usually around 10 grams lighter than the genuine piece.

That difference is real, but it is not especially obvious visually. It becomes more relevant when you weigh the watch directly or compare it closely against an authentic example. In normal wear, it is not the kind of difference that stands out immediately.

For most buyers, the more important point is that the overall appearance remains convincing, and the watch still delivers the look people expect from a fluted Datejust.

Dandong 3235 Movement Performance

The movement is still one of the strongest selling points of the VS Factory Datejust. This model uses the Dandong 3235, which remains one of the most important reasons many buyers choose VS over other factories.

The functions are laid out correctly, and the setting feel is very good. The first crown position is used for the date, and the second for the time, just like the genuine watch. The crown action feels solid and controlled rather than loose or rough.

Power reserve is another major advantage. In real use, with roughly 60 turns of winding, the watch can run for about 68 to 69 hours. That is very close to the advertised 72-hour concept and is genuinely practical in day-to-day wear. If you take it off on Friday and pick it up again on Monday, there is a good chance it will still be running.

Just as importantly, this movement has now been on the market for years. In my experience, its stability and durability are already well proven. For buyers who want a Datejust they can actually wear regularly rather than constantly worry about, that matters a lot.

Which Dial Should You Choose

If you want the more traditional Datejust look, I would lean toward the silver dial. The sunburst texture gives it more visual depth, and it captures the classic Datejust character very well.

If you prefer a cleaner, brighter, and more immediately noticeable look, the white dial is the stronger choice. It feels a little sharper and a little more modern on the wrist.

My simple view is this:

Choose the silver dial if you want classic and versatile.
Choose the white dial if you want clean and more distinctive.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the VS Factory Rolex Datejust 41 ref. 126334 remains one of the stronger options in this category. The case finishing, dial execution, bracelet feel, and movement performance are all at a level that feels mature and well developed.

More importantly, the Dandong 3235 gives this watch a real advantage in everyday usability thanks to its strong power reserve and proven long-term stability.

As for the silver dial and white dial, the difference is less about quality and more about personality. The silver dial feels more classic. The white dial feels cleaner and more direct. Either way, if you are looking for a well-rounded VS Factory Datejust 41, the 126334 is still a very safe choice.
