The Pepsi Replica That Actually Holds Up in 2026
For years, if you wanted a high-end Pepsi GMT replica, you had two real options — Clean Factory or VS Factory. Clean held the Dandong 3285 movement on an exclusive contract, so they had the upper hand. That contract expired. Then Clean got shut down by local authorities in mid-2025. Now VS Factory has the Dandong 3285, the V3 ceramic bezel, and basically the whole Pepsi market to itself.
I’ve been moving these since the first V3 batch landed. Here’s an honest breakdown of what you actually get for around $800, where it falls short, and whether it’s worth pulling the trigger.

Quick take: is the VSF 126710 worth it in 2026?
Short answer — yes, if you want the closest thing to a Pepsi 126710BLRO without spending $15K on the secondary market. The current VSF V3 version with the Dandong 3285 is the strongest Pepsi replica I’ve sold, full stop. Clean is gone, the small factories using Shanghai movements aren’t in the same league, and VSF finally has every piece in place. Could it be better? Sure. But this is as close as the market gets right now.

Buyers ask about thickness a lot — the original 126710BLRO is 11.9mm, and VSF runs about 12.0–12.1mm. A tenth of a millimeter. You won’t notice it on the wrist.
The V3 bezel — what actually changed
This is the part most people zero in on, and rightfully so. The bezel makes or breaks a Pepsi.
V3 is what the market calls the latest ceramic insert. The headline upgrade — and the reason it matters — is the UV color-shift. Shine a UV flashlight on the bezel and the blue half turns red, mimicking how the genuine 126710BLRO Cerachrom behaves under UV light. Older replica inserts didn’t do this. The blue stayed blue. Anyone who knew what to look for could spot a fake instantly. The V3 fixed that.
A few other things worth knowing about the V3 bezel:
- The blue-to-red transition is clean, no white seam at the 6/18 split. It’s a single-piece ceramic, not two halves bonded together.
- Numbers and indices are filled with platinum powder, not paint. They won’t fade or yellow over time.
- The bezel rotates bidirectionally with a firmer click than Clean’s old version — that was actually one of VSF’s bigger wins over Clean back when both were on the shelf. Clean’s bezel had play after it clicked into position. VSF’s locks in tighter.
- The teeth on the coin edge are the slimmer 2022-spec, closer to the current production Rolex bezels.
If someone is selling you a “VSF Pepsi” and the bezel doesn’t change color under UV, it’s not VSF. It’s a knockoff using a cheaper insert.
Dial, hands, and crown details

The dial sits with a slight concave curve at the center — what we call the “wok-lid” dial. Look at it from an angle and you’ll see the very subtle dome. The genuine 126710 has this same curve, and most lower-tier replicas miss it entirely (their dials sit dead flat).
Hands are the buff-style 3D hands — Mercedes hour, sword minute, lollipop seconds, and the red arrow GMT hand. The hour, minute and GMT hands have proper bevel polish, and the seconds hand has a flat pinion top instead of the cheap stamped look. The central pinion is solid, not hollow. That was one of VSF’s specific upgrades over Clean — if you look down through the cannon pinion, there’s a small metal pin in the center, matching how the gen does it. Clean’s was open underneath.
The GMT hand red is a bright, slightly pink-leaning red. This is intentional. The genuine GMT hand isn’t a deep blood red — it’s a brighter red. Clean’s was darker. VSF actually got this closer to the real thing.
The crown sits flush when screwed down, with the laser-etched coronet visible above the three dots. The 6 o’clock laser etched crown on the sapphire — the 128-dot anti-counterfeit mark — is there, but only visible if you angle a light source from 12 o’clock toward 6. If you can see it easily under regular light, it’s a low-tier fake.
Dandong 3285 movement: the part that actually matters
Everything I said about the bezel and dial — none of it matters if the movement isn’t right. The 126710 has gone through three movement generations in the replica market: Asian 2836-based (junk), Shanghai 3285 (decent), and now Dandong 3285 (the real deal).
The Dandong 3285 is a true clone — not a modified base movement, but actually tooled to mirror the genuine Calibre 3285. Specs:
- 27 jewels, 27-ball rotor bearing on the current production
- ~70-hour power reserve, matching the genuine
- Bidirectional winding
- Date can be set forward or backward via the hour hand on the first crown position
- GMT hand independently adjusted before setting local time
The story on this movement is worth knowing because it explains why the Pepsi was such a mess before 2025. Clean Factory had an exclusive two-year contract with the Dandong workshop for the 3285. VSF couldn’t get it. So every “VSF Pepsi” sold during those two years was either using Shanghai 3285 (lower-grade) or was outright not VSF — just resellers slapping the name on whatever they had. That contract expired in 2025, and VSF immediately moved in. Same movement Clean was using, now in VSF cases with the V3 bezel.
In terms of feel — winding is light and clean, no gritty sound. Pull to the first position and the hour hand jumps the date in clean increments. Pull to the second position and the minute hand drags the hour hand. The clutch wheel actually moves when you wind (you can see it through caseback opens, though this is a closed back). Accuracy on my unsold stock typically runs ±15 seconds a day — the genuine 3285 is COSC-certified at -2/+2, so the gen is tighter. For daily wear, ±15 is fine. If you want it tighter, any local watchmaker can regulate it down further.
For the deeper movement breakdown, my VSF Rolex 3235 movement review covers the Dandong production line in general — the 3285 follows the same factory standards.
VSF vs Clean Factory 126710 — why this isn’t really a comparison anymore

This was the question everyone asked me through 2024 — VSF or Clean? My answer back then: Clean if you wanted slightly better polish on the bracelet finishing, VSF if you wanted the better bezel mechanism and the solid central pinion.
That conversation is over. Clean Factory got shut down by Chinese authorities in mid-2025. The first-tier dealers were raided in July 2025. The factory itself stopped production around June. There’s no “new Clean.” A factory called Clean Plus popped up later, but the original team is gone, the movement supply lines were broken, and what’s being sold as “Clean stock” today is mostly old inventory or repackaged production from smaller shops. I covered the full breakdown in my VS vs Clean Factory comparison, but the short version is: Clean is not a current option.
So in practical terms, the VSF Pepsi has no real competition in 2026. Other factories using Shanghai 3285 aren’t in the same tier — the movement is a modified hybrid, not a true clone, and the power reserve and long-term reliability fall short. If you’ve been quoted a Pepsi GMT in the $400 range and the seller calls it “C Factory” or “VSF,” it’s not. Real VSF with the V3 bezel and Dandong 3285 cannot be sold profitably below ~$700. Anything cheaper is using fake markings.
What I don’t love about it
Every replica has compromises. I’d rather tell you up front than have you find out after delivery.
Lume duration is shorter than the genuine. Initial brightness is fine — looks the same in a dark room right after charging. But four or five hours later, the gen still glows, the replica fades faster. Not a functional issue unless you’re diving at night.
Regulator type doesn’t match. The Dandong 3285 uses an adjustable regulator with two studs. The genuine 3285 is a free-sprung balance with four weighted screws. You can’t see this through the closed caseback, so visually it’s a non-issue, but for purists who care about movement architecture, it’s a known gap.
Stock availability is unpredictable. VSF has been operating cautiously since the Clean raids — they ship in smaller batches and longer intervals to avoid drawing attention. A “Pepsi in stock” listing might mean the dealer has one on hand, or it might mean they’re waiting on the next factory drop. If a seller promises 24-hour shipping with no inventory, be skeptical.
FAQ
Is the VSF 126710 the same as the genuine Rolex Pepsi 126710BLRO? The case material (904L), sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, and case dimensions match. The visible exterior is essentially indistinguishable at normal viewing distance. The movement is a Dandong clone of the Calibre 3285, not the genuine, and the regulator architecture differs. Side by side under magnification, an expert can tell. At arm’s length, no one will.
Will it pass authentication at a Rolex AD? No serious replica is built to pass professional authentication. The case-back movement view, the hallmarks under microscopy, and the documentation all fail at the AD level. The VSF is built to wear well and look right — not to fool a watchmaker with a loupe.
How long does the Dandong 3285 last? Based on my customer feedback over the past year, I’d put the realistic service life at 5+ years with normal wear. The Dandong line in general — 3230, 3235, 4130, 4131 — has held up far better than the Shanghai equivalents. Service return rate on my GMT 3285 units has been near-zero so far.
Where can I see all the GMT-Master II options? Full range is on the VSF GMT-Master II collection — Pepsi, Batman, Sprite, Root Beer, and the precious metal versions.
Why is the VSF Pepsi more expensive than the VSF Submariner 126610LN? The Dandong 3285 GMT movement is more complex than the 3235 used in the Sub — extra GMT hand, second time zone mechanism, more parts. The V3 ceramic bezel is also more expensive to produce than a single-color black ceramic insert. Cost gets passed through.
My name is Ray LI. I’ve been in the replica watch business since 2015, initially serving the Chinese market before expanding to customers in the US, UK, Germany, and across Europe in 2023. Every recommendation in this guide comes from real sales data and customer feedback — not factory marketing materials. My philosophy is simple: everything I do is for that moment when a customer receives their watch and tells me they’re satisfied. That message means more to me than any payment notification ever could.
