VS Factory Omega Constellation 123.10.38.21.02.001 — Hands-On Review

Alright so I finally got my hands on the VS Factory Constellation 123.10.38.21.02.001 and wanted to do a proper write-up. White dial, stick indices. This is the config I personally gravitate toward and honestly after spending some time with it, I get why this ref keeps moving.

The Dial

First thing you notice — the sunburst texture on this white dial is legit. There's a brushed pattern radiating outward from the small star at 6 o'clock, and under natural light it catches really well. Strong metallic feel to it. Both the stick index and dot index versions have this sunburst effect but the black dial doesn't — that one's just flat black, very understated. The diamond-set version leans more flashy obviously. Personal preference.

VS reportedly sourced a gen piece to make their dial molds for this one. I've posted some gen vs rep comparison shots before if you want to dig through and check those out.

Index and Dial Details

The stick indices are done well. Four-side polished with the thinnest point in the center, just like gen. Front polish is bright, no complaints there. The Omega logo has good depth and the right amount of shine.

Hands are clean. No burrs or rough edges that I could spot. Lume fill is even and consistent across the dial.

One thing worth noting — the 12 o'clock index has lume applied on top, but the diamond-set version does not have lume on the indices at all. Keep that in mind if you're deciding between configs.

The small star at the bottom of the dial pops nicely. Good 3D effect. Dial printing and engravings are on point with gen references.

Bezel and Case Finishing

Roman numeral markers on the outer bezel ring. Depth is correct, proportions look right. The brushing on the case sides and the polished sections — both well executed. Honestly the brushed finishing from VS Factory is something I respect a lot. Them and ARF are probably the two best in the game when it comes to brushwork on steel. It's just clean.

Bracelet and Clasp

Bracelet articulation is smooth. The brushed texture across the links matches the case quality. Clasp opens and closes with a satisfying click, not too loose not too stiff. Inside the clasp the polishing is crisp, engravings are sharp, and all the correct stampings are present where they should be.

No issues here really.

38mm case, 13mm thick. Sits nicely on most wrist sizes. My wrist is about 16cm and it wears perfectly — not too big, not too small. If you've got a really thick wrist it might wear a touch small on you but for average to slightly-above-average wrist sizes this is a solid fit.

On the Wrist

What makes this Constellation work is versatility. Throw it on with a t-shirt, works. Pair it with a suit, works. The white dial stick index combo is just incredibly easy to dress up or down. Diamond dial if you want something louder, but for daily wear? Stick indices white dial all day.
