Beautiful watch, great size, and clearly the best Planet Ocean so far. They managed to capture the massiveness of the PO so well - the weight and how it feels. No cheap vibe at all. Blue ceramic bezel action is buttery smooth, crisp clicks, zero backplay, perfect alignment at 12. The dial is pure eye-candy, the way the color shifts in certain light is insane. Applied indices and hands are flawless and the lume is ridiculous - bright glow, lasts long.
I have the black version and it looks awesome, perfect for every day. The ceramic bezel pearl at 12 o'clock is done correctly - not domed, it's a bit sunken like the real thing. VS always does a very good job on the dial, no complaints there. The clone 8900 movement is the only proper super clone in the market, independently developed, not based on some Chinese movement like from other factories.
Got it and I have to say I'm very happy, love the blue bezel. The bracelet is great, ok the clasp is big but it is a deep diver after all. The blue bezel has a slight green Mediterranean hue to it which looks so good in person. I think the blue is the best option for daily wear.
The bracelet and the clasp are both much sharper than on my authentic one (which in fact isn't sharp at all). That's something I've noticed on other VSF Omega bracelets before, and it's very obvious when you handle it. Besides that though it is a great PO - the weight feels right and everything else is spot on.
For a 42mm this watch is big. On my 7.5 inch wrists it's more like a 45mm watch, I've worn 44-45mm watches that are actually smaller than this. The case is slightly too thick for my taste. Only thing that would make it better for me is if it was 3mm thinner and the stock clasp was adjustable. It's a great watch undoubtedly but it's got a few issues with the thickness.
