VS Factory Omega Seamaster 150M 220.10.41.21.10.001 — Hands-On Review

Alright, let's get into it. This is the latest VS Factory Omega Seamaster 150M in the green teak dial — ref 220.10.41.21.10.001. Been getting a lot of questions about this one so I grabbed it for a proper look. Here's what I found.

The Dial

First thing you notice is the color. It's not a loud green. More of a muted, deep green with grey undertones that shift depending on how light hits it. The new Seamaster 150M dials have this horizontal sunburst pattern going on, and VS nailed the execution here. Looks rich without being flashy. The kind of dial that photographs differently every time, which is exactly what the gen does too.

Case & Specs

316L stainless steel. 41mm case diameter, 13.8mm thick. Same dimensions as other Seamaster 150M refs so no surprises there. Screw-down crown on the side — standard for a diver. Big three-hand layout, easy to read. Nothing complicated.

Finishing Up Close

OK so this is where VS has really stepped up their game across the whole Seamaster 150M line. The hour markers are five-faceted, CNC cut, and when you get in close there's zero burring on the edges. Lume application on both the indices and hands — clean, no overflow. That stuff matters.

Small detail at 6 o'clock. The date window has a green background disc that matches the main dial color. VS got that right.

Movement: VS In-House 8900

New 150M runs the 8900, replacing the older 8500 from previous versions. Pull the crown out — clockwise for manual winding. One click in and you can adjust the hour hand independently. Slow-jumping date. That independent hour hand adjustment is actually the quickest way to tell if you've got a real VS integrated movement or not.

When you're done setting, push and screw the crown back down. Don't overtighten it. Just enough to compress the gasket.

Flip it over. The 6 o'clock balance wheel sits behind dual trapezoidal shock absorbers, DLC blackened. Double barrel mainspring — that's one of the biggest highlights of this movement. Geneva stripes on the rotor and bridges are well done, consistent depth throughout. Caseback engravings are all there: five-digit codes matching, Daniel's signature, Observatory certification logo.

Strap & Wrist Presence

Comes on a rubber strap. Soft, good flex to it. The endlink connection uses metal inserts where the strap meets the case — a detail VS didn't skip. Clasp is a single-fold deployant, press-release type. Different from the bracelet version's clasp.

41mm on wrist feels just right for summer. Not too chunky. And rubber obviously handles sweat and water way better than steel for daily wear.

Bottom Line

VS Factory's Seamaster 150M lineup has been solid for a while now and this green dial ref doesn't change that. Dial finishing is clean, the 8900 clone runs well with good daily accuracy, and long-term reliability hasn't been an issue from what I've seen. The green teak sunburst is a nice change of pace if you're tired of the usual blue and black options. Worth a look if this ref is on your radar.
