Once you've set the watch it does run in sync like the authentic complications do. Considering the price point this is still a few hundred less than many Rolex or Patek replicas that have less functionality. In regards to finish and function it's outstanding. This is a wonderful addition to my collection and possibly my new favourite. It's scary how much closer these are getting to the real thing.
The watch is perfect, all functions do their job very well and the watch is very accurate. Compared to the original, APS have only modified the year setting with a button at 8 o'clock. The only thing I find unsatisfactory is the strap which, although the inner part is orange and marked Santoni, the outer part is clearly plastic or leatherette. Had to get an aftermarket strap for it.
Got mine a couple weeks ago. It's huge and a little cumbersome with the setup. A few problems: the rotor has the wrong inscription, it should say 150 years not IWC. The dial is great but the strap is trash - should be double-sided with orange/brown leather on the inside. Also the date wheel for the year doesn't look right and the moonphase is just a day/night indicator. Still looks absolutely gorgeous on the wrist.
My APS arrived and it's a real beauty, but it's also a hell of a watch - feels bigger than a 44mm Pam. Please be aware of the size and thickness before you order, this is nothing for small wrists. The settings are easier than I thought though. One big minus is the clasp, which has a rather notchy closing mechanism.
