So VS Factory just dropped the PAM01467. The New York limited edition — only 212 pieces in the gen. And honestly, they nailed it on this one.

Let's get into it.

The Case

Titanium with a DLC coating. Gives it this matte black finish that looks absolutely killer in person. The brushwork is clean, no rough edges, no weird spots. VS Factory clearly put some effort into getting the case finishing right on this ref.

44mm on the wrist. Standard Panerai territory. If you've worn a 44 Panerai before you already know the deal — it wears big but not crazy. For guys with smaller wrists, maybe look at the 42mm or 40mm refs instead. Panerai goes all the way from 40 to 47 so there's options.

Dial

This is where it gets interesting. The dial color is this anthracite gradient — dark grey fading into black with a subtle sheen to it. Hard to describe honestly but VS got the tone really close to gen. Sandwich dial construction, lume plots are bright and consistent.

The date window font is properly done. Good depth, clean printing. Center pinion and hand edges are finished well, no burrs or sloppy lume application. GMT hand is present and functional.

Lume performance is solid too. Doesn't pop as much under direct light obviously but in the dark it charges up nicely.

Strap & Caseback

Fabric strap with a leather backing. Comfortable enough for daily wear. The logo engravings on the strap are deep and crisp — not the shallow lazy stuff you sometimes see on reps. Pin buckle with clean engraving as well.

Quick-release mechanism on this one. There's a small button on the side, press it and the strap slides right off. Same system as the gen. Makes swapping straps super easy which is a nice touch.

Now the caseback. Brooklyn Bridge engraving. Once you peel off the protective film you can really see the 3D relief work. Looks great, solid depth to it.

Movement

VS Factory exclusive movement. Nobody else has this caliber and that's been the case for a while now. Reliability has been proven at this point — good power reserve, stable timekeeping.

Here's how it works. Open the crown guard, wind upward. Pull to first position and only the hour hand moves independently. Two full rotations of the hour hand advances the date by one. Works in reverse too. Pull to second position for time setting — the hour hand and GMT hand move together so you can set a second timezone.

All of this matches how the gen operates. That's the kind of detail that matters.

Final Thoughts

VS Factory basically owns the Panerai rep game right now. Most complete lineup, best finishing, and that exclusive movement gives them an edge nobody else can touch. This PAM01467 specifically — the DLC titanium case, that anthracite gradient dial, GMT functionality — it's a really strong package.
