Basically spot-on. The mid-case has that sharp AP finishing with brushed tops, polished chamfers and crisp transitions. The bezel screws are polished, slightly recessed, and actually aligned, which is rare on these.
That blue Grande Tapisserie dial is the showstopper. The waffle pattern is beautifully done, the applied AP logo catches the light nicely, and the dial’s sunburst is simply beautiful as well.
The crystal is nearly perfect. AR coating does a phenomenal job minimizing glare and I could detect no milky haze at almost any angle. The dial and hand glints really shine through.
