Very beautiful watch, very big but not heavy - it's lighter than a Seamaster 300. Feels very comfortable on my 6.5 inch wrist. The dial has a coarse structure to it like the real one and the prints are sharp. Datewheel is aligned spot on. On the Top Gun version the seconds hand is 1:1 like the authentic, they only had that short-hand issue on the standard Big Pilot with the white seconds hand, not this one.
The ceramic case has a nice matte finish and looks very close to the authentic including the shape of the lugs. It feels very light and comfortable because of the ceramic. The lug length is quite long but it fits my wrist fine since the lug holes are inset and the strap pulls straight down. The clasp can pinch a little but usually just needs a small adjustment.
The case shape bothers me - the edge should be thicker, same as the 388001. It looks like they just made a ceramic version of the regular big pilot case instead of getting the Top Gun proportions right. Also found a flaw: the model number on the inside of the caseback says 3880-something, which is wrong for the 502001.
