The 69385 clone movement is the real deal here. It's a column-wheel chronograph built from the ground up, not a modified 7750 with a transfer plate to move the seconds hand. The pusher feel is crisper and smoother because of it. Chronograph functions well and resets cleanly to zero. Through the caseback you can see the correct bridge layout, the column wheel, and the IWC engraved rotor — looks proper. On my wrist it's been running with almost no deviation, which honestly shocked me.

One thing to note — the rotor is loud. If you got sensitive ears you'll probably want to do some rotor silencing. It's still quieter than the old 7750 wobble but you can hear it when you move your wrist. Also worth thinking about: spare parts for this new clone movement might be harder to find than for a standard 7750 if something goes wrong down the line.

I owned the older A7750 versions before and they weren't very faithful to the originals — apart from a few references they were ticking time bombs. So I was surprised when APS announced a proper 69385 clone. The correct case thickness at 14.5mm makes it way more comfortable compared to the older thicker reps. Sub-dial placement is finally right with the small seconds at 6 o'clock. Huge leap forward for IWC replicas honestly.
