My ceramic AP from APS was really well built and I bet with this ceramic IWC they did a good work too. The movement is a total copy in every part, not just a homage made from 7750 parts with custom bridges - it's the full clone of the 69385. Pretty clean by movement standards and came well lubricated. You get a true clone movement here.
Finally after waiting for forever, the seconds sub dial is finally fixed! Placed an order for the white Top Gun. The 69385 movement is the best IWC chronograph movement at the moment. I had one earlier this year but the seconds were on the wrong subdial. Sold that and got this one instead.
Fell in love with the retail version when I tried it on a couple of years ago. This piece arrived this week and I've had some wrist time. Thrilled so far. Dial has crisp finishing and good alignment on day and date windows. Printing on dial and sub-dials is sharp. Lume is excellent. Case has a great feel on wrist, matte finish rather than glossy, looks spot on compared to the real one.
Tested the chronograph around a dozen times, works fine so far. Pushers need a firm press though, can't remember if it was also the case with the authentic. The 12-hour sub-dial shakes slightly on reset but returns to correct position. No issue with chrono seconds. Setting the day and date can be a bit finicky, same as people reported with the black ceramic model. Aside from that, no major issues.
