VS Factory Omega Seamaster 600M 522.33.40.20.04.001 — Tokyo 2020 Olympic Limited Edition Review

So I just got my hands on something a little different from VS Factory. It's their take on the Omega Seamaster 600M Tokyo 2020 Olympic limited edition — ref 522.33.40.20.04.001. All white. The bezel, the dial, even the inside of the strap. Pretty striking in person honestly.

Let me walk you through it.

Size and Wearability

This one comes in at 39.5mm diameter, 14mm thick. It's technically a ladies' piece but that size is not small by any means. If you've got thinner wrists, might want to think twice — it's all about how it sits on YOUR wrist, not what the spec sheet says.

That said. Plenty of women rock a 40mm Sub or a gold Daytona and it looks fantastic. If you can pull those off, this 39.5mm is nothing.

The Bezel and Dial

White ceramic bezel. Unidirectional rotation with a clean, crisp click — no roughness, no catching on the skin. Sapphire crystal on top, good clarity.

There's red detailing at the 20-minute marker and on the seconds hand. Against all that white it really pops. Matches the gen Tokyo Olympic edition design language.

Now the dial itself — the hour markers and lume plots aren't just printed on. They're applied, three-dimensional. You can see the depth. The inner surfaces are finished too, polished edges that catch light nicely. VS clearly put in work on this ref.

Case and HEV

316L stainless steel case. The edges have that brushed-to-polished transition that Omega does on the gen. It's blended well here, not abrupt.

The helium escape valve at 10 o'clock — yeah it's decorative. Don't mess with it. Same deal as every other Seamaster rep out there.

Crown Operation

Pull the crown out and twist up to hand-wind. First click is date — push up to quick-set. Second click for time setting. Screw it back down when you're done, make sure it's tight. You want that water resistance seal locked in, keep moisture out.

Straightforward stuff. Functions exactly like you'd expect.

Strap and Clasp

White leather strap, cowhide on the outside with a rubber lining underneath. Soft. Comfortable right out of the box, no break-in period needed. The dual-push deployant clasp snaps open and shut cleanly.

One thing worth noting — white leather straps will show wear over time. Just the nature of it. Keep that in mind if you're planning to daily this one.

Caseback Details

Flip it over and you get the Olympic rings engraving, the "Limited Edition" marking, and the numbering out of 2020 pieces. All rendered in a mix of English text and numerals. Clean execution. Movement and Accuracy

Inside you've got the 2024 movement with an 8800 decorated plate. This combo has been in VS Factory's lineup for a while now and it's proven. Timekeeping is stable, reliability isn't a concern. VS has been at the top of the game for Omega and Panerai reps for years — their QC on these movements is solid and that reputation didn't come from nowhere.

Lume

Dual-color lume. Hard to show properly in daylight but it charges up fine and glows strong once you're in the dark. Consistent with what VS puts out across their Seamaster line.

Bottom Line

The VS Factory Omega 522.33.40.20.04.001 is a clean build. White-on-white theme executed well, ceramic bezel feels right, movement runs reliably, and the Olympic limited edition details are all there. If you're into sporty watches with a twist — or you just like the idea of an Olympic special edition on wrist — this is worth a serious look.

For women I'd say wrist circumference of about 15cm or above for the best fit. But honestly, wear what you like. Rules are made to be broken.
