Market Positioning of VS Factory and Clean Factory
Hello everyone, this is the VSFWatcheshub team. In my opinion, both VS Factory and Clean Factory produce top-tier, high-end replica watches. Their goal has always been to achieve true 1:1 replication of genuine originals.
VS Factory mainly focuses on three brands: Rolex, Omega, and Panerai.
Clean Factory, on the other hand, is primarily focused on Rolex.
Many people say Clean specializes in Rolex, so buyers often choose Clean first when purchasing a Rolex replica. However, from my experience as a long-term agent of top factories, Clean’s overall strength cannot truly compete with VS. Why?
VS Factory has a long history. They pay close attention to quality control for every watch and use higher-cost materials. VS Factory vs Clean Factory — Rolex Submariner Comparison
If we’re talking about the Rolex Submariner series, which factory should you choose? I’ll keep it simple.
There’s no need to go deep into case shape or finishing under a high-powered magnifier. Both VS and Clean cases are already extremely close to genuine — you’d need a microscope-level inspection to tell differences.
41mm Submariner (Cal. 3235)
For the 41mm Submariner with the 3235 movement, I recommend VS.
VS’s 3235 is developed in cooperation with the Dandong movement factory
Based on our shipment ratio, quality is very reliable
After-sales issues are extremely rare
The rotor noise on the VS 3235 automatic movement is slightly quieter than Clean’s version
Conclusion: VS Factory’s 3235 movement performs better overall. Clean’s 3235 (Shanghai-sourced) tends to have slightly louder rotor noise.

Previously, Clean’s 3235 occasionally had minor issues such as date change sticking, though both movements tested around 70 hours of power reserve. For the 41mm version, VS is the first recommendation.
40mm Submariner (Cal. 3135)
For the 40mm version, both factories use Dandong 3135 movements. The products are extremely similar. Clean often releases updated versions and does more marketing promotion.
Objectively speaking, both are at the same level. If you like strong marketing narratives, go with Clean. From a technical perspective, they’re nearly identical.
How Should Buyers Choose?
Choose mainly based on the movement. You can largely ignore case and exterior finishing differences — both are already excellent. Fewer after-sales issues also reduce workload for everyone. As for comparison photos between factories, they’re mostly marketing battles.
VS Factory vs Clean Factory — Rolex Daytona
Both VS and Clean Daytona replicas are extremely popular. VS currently offers two Daytona movement versions:
1. Simplified Movement Version
Unidirectional winding system
Stability significantly improved over 7750 movement
Closer to genuine 4130 performance
Price slightly above ¥3000
Very high cost-performance ratio
2. 4130 / 4131 Movement Version
Same category as Clean’s high-end Daytona version
VS pricing is lower than Clean for similar spec
Overall, the finishing quality of both factories shows no obvious difference, but Clean has stronger brand popularity and higher pricing.

Dial, movement finishing, and color tone show minor differences, but nothing major
Bezel, case shape, brushing, and chamfering are almost identical between VS and Clean
Color tone: VS leans slightly cooler; Clean slightly warmer (e.g., Panda dial contrast)
Small subdials and black ceramic parts may have slight tone differences, but visually very close overall
