VS Factory Omega Seamaster 150 220.32.41.21.03.001 — Hands-On Review of the 2025 Turquoise Gradient

VS Factory just dropped something fresh. The 2025 Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M in a gradient turquoise colorway, ref 220.32.41.21.03.001. Been waiting on this one for a while honestly, and now that it's here, let's get into it.

What's Available

So this ref comes in 41mm and 38mm. Both sizes offer a steel bracelet version and a rubber strap version. Quick note — the rubber strap version gets a ceramic bezel ring, while the steel bracelet one has a steel bezel ring. Ceramic doesn't scratch. Wear it for years, clean it up, looks brand new. That alone is a big deal for daily wear.

This review covers the 41mm on rubber.

The Dial. Yeah, It's Good.

The gradient turquoise really does look natural in hand. No harsh color breaks, no weird banding. The transition is smooth from edge to center. Date window is properly aligned and the date font has that slightly raised oil-press printing you see on gen — not flat, not painted on. The color behind the date wheel matches too, which is something a lot of factories get wrong.

Hands, indices, everything sits right where it should. Honestly hard to spot any tells on the front. This is kind of expected from VS at this point though. Their Seamaster line has been untouchable for years. Nobody else even comes close on this series and that's not hype, just facts.

Case finishing and bezel polishing are clean. Even transitions between brushed and polished surfaces look proper. No rough edges, no lazy finishing on the lugs.

Strap and Clasp

The rubber strap has a diamond-pattern texture with visible stitching detail. Flip it over — engravings on the back are all there. The deployant clasp is solid, snaps open and shut with a satisfying click. Not mushy, not stiff.

The strap has a nice curve to it so it wraps around the wrist without fighting you. Works on thinner and thicker wrists. Dress it up, dress it down, daily beater — this thing fits in pretty much anywhere.

Movement: Dandong 8900 One-Piece (VS Exclusive)

Here's where VS really separates itself. This one runs the Dandong 8900 integrated movement. Exclusive to VS Factory — no other factory has it. Rock solid reliability, very low failure rate. Dual mainspring barrels, good power reserve. The movement has been proven over time and rep owners who've had it for years will back that up.

How to Tell It's a Genuine VS 8900

If you're buying secondhand or just want to verify, here's the breakdown:

Unscrew the crown. Push up — that's manual winding. Pull to first position — this adjusts the date. But here's the thing. It's NOT a quickset date. You rotate the hour hand two full turns to advance the date by one day. And it works in reverse too. This is how the gen operates and VS is the only factory replicating this correctly.

Pull to second position for time setting. Hour and minute hands move together.

For the more experienced folks — just look at the caseback. Check the shock absorber position and the regulator pins. You'll know. Also when you manually wind it, watch the gear above the mainspring barrel. It actually moves. Functional, not decorative. Other factories can't replicate any of this.

Caseback

All the engravings and stampings you'd expect on the caseback are present and accounted for. Depth, spacing, font weight — all done right.

Final Thoughts

The VS Factory Omega Seamaster 150 220.32.41.21.03.001 in this 2025 turquoise gradient is a solid release. Dial work is clean, the exclusive Dandong 8900 movement continues to be the best in the game for this ref, and the overall build quality is what you'd expect from VS on their flagship series. Great daily wearer. Looks the part whether you're at the office or out on the weekend.

The 38mm version is coming soon — I'll do a separate review once it lands. Stay tuned on vsfwatcheshub for that one.
