VS Factory Omega Seamaster 150 Worldtimer 220.92.43.22.99.001 — Titanium Colorway Review

So VS Factory dropped a new colorway for the Seamaster Worldtimer and honestly, this one might be the best looking out of all three versions they've done so far. Titanium case, black and silver-grey dial, ceramic bezel. Yeah. Let's get into it.

The Three Colorways

Quick rundown. VS has released three Worldtimer refs to date — the blue dial with steel case came first, then a green ceramic version a few months back, and now this titanium piece in 220.92.43.22.99.001.

I'll be straight with you, that green one wasn't it. The color leans way too dark, almost blackish-green in most lighting. Not a great look. But this titanium version? Completely different story. The silver-grey tone gives it this understated, almost vintage vibe that just works.

Case & Materials

Full titanium construction here — case, caseback, crown, clasp, all Ti. If you've ever had skin reactions to steel reps, this one solves that problem. And the weight difference is noticeable right away. Pick this up after handling the ceramic version or the blue steel one and you'll feel it immediately. Way lighter on the wrist, which for a 43mm watch makes a real difference in daily wear comfort.

The bezel is ceramic though, not titanium. Zoom in and you can see a brushed texture running across the ceramic surface — the finishing on this is genuinely impressive for a rep. Clean lines, no sloppy edges.

Dial Details

The applied indices have this silver-grey finish with beveled edges. At certain angles they look almost black but catch some light and you see the true color come through — it's not pure silver, more of a muted grey with a slight metallic warmth. Pairs well with the overall palette.

Now the world map in the center. This is where VS really showed off. The continents have genuine 3D relief — you can see the raised texture even without a loupe. Surrounding area has a frosted matte finish that adds depth. Not flat, not painted-on looking. Actual dimension to it.

Hands are brushed with that same grey tone. The whole dial just feels cohesive.

Around the outer ring you've got 24 city names for the worldtime function — standard GMT complication stuff, lets you read multiple time zones at a glance.

Movement

VS fitted their clone of the Cal.8938 in this one. Same movement they used in the first and second gen Worldtimers so nothing new on that front — which is actually a good thing. It's proven, it's an integrated movement, and it works the way it should.

Setting procedure: unscrew the crown and pull to the first position for hand-winding. Pull to second position to set the hour hand — two full rotations cycles the date. Third position sets the minutes. The 24-hour subdial tracks along with the hour hand automatically, so your secondary timezone stays synced.

Engravings and serial codes differ from gen obviously but the architecture mirrors the original.

Strap & Clasp

This ref ships on a rubber strap only — no bracelet option for the titanium version at this point. The rubber is soft, pliable, comfortable out of the box without that stiff break-in period some straps need. Clasp has the Omega logo engraved with decent depth, not just laser etched. Looks and feels right.

Lume

Ice blue lume, matches what you'd see on the gen. Doesn't pop much under normal lighting but kill the lights and it hits hard. Good charge, even coverage across the dial and hands.

Final Thoughts

One thing I've noticed about VS Factory over the years — they tend to nail it on the first release. Other factories put out a V1, then you wait for V2 fixes, maybe a V3 before it's actually worth buying. VS doesn't really do that. Their stuff comes out of the gate at a high level and this Worldtimer is no exception. Pretty sure they're working off a gen for their molds because the tolerances and detail work just wouldn't happen otherwise.

This VS Factory Omega Seamaster 220.92.43.22.99.001 titanium Worldtimer checks every box — looks, weight, build quality, movement reliability. First batch is out now and based on past drops, stock probably won't last. If this colorway speaks to you, don't sit on it too long.
